The Opportunity
Our ladies retreat is an opportunity for women (18+) to advance in their walk with Jesus. Our approach is both minamilistic and simplistic. Our goal is to provide an atmosphere that will allow women the freedom to be still and encounter the powerful presence of The Holy Spirit of God. Authenticity and excellence is the standard we aim for in planning our ladies retreat. We understand full well that women are extreemly busy with many pressures pulling them in multiple directions. To the women who make the time sacrifice and financial investment to attend the ladies retreat, we make this simple promise: WE WILL NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!
The Investment
Time sacrifice: 3 days, March 28th thru 30th. Financial Sacrifice: $140.
The Theme
The Holy Spirit is the person of God that the enemy has effectively misconstrued and maligned since His outpouring on the day of pentecost, as documented in the book of Acts. To manipulate and confuse the believer in regard to The Holy Spirit and the purposes of His personality is a tactic that the devil has masterfully employed. The Holy Spirit is our sole connection to the power of God and it is vitally important for the believer to understand who He is and how He works to carry out the purposes of The Father. Of course, it is impossible to do a deep dive into all things Holy Spirit in a few short days, however, it is possible to major on the majors and lay a solid foundation for the individual believer to build upon and develop a powerful relationship with this person of the triune God!
The Venue
Waters Edge Encampment, is a beautiful, 200 acre property, tucked away in the BIG piney woods of East Texas. The facilities are top notch and the food quality is second to none.From dominoes & cards to a round of disc golf to canoeing & fishing in the 24 acre lake, there are plenty of activities to enjoy. If you'd rather just sit and sip some coffee while you cozy up to a fire with some simple fellowship, you can do that too. Directions: 7900 FM 1733, Crockett TX 75835
